Pandora Papers is a leak of almost 12 million documents that reveals hidden wealth, tax avoidance and money laundering by some of the world's richest and most powerful people and even well known celebraties too.
The leak exposed the secret offshore accounts of 35 world leader, including current and former presidents, prime ministers and heads of state as well as more than 100 billionaires, celebrities, and business leaders. The ICIJ (International Consortium of Investigative Journalists)described the document leak as their most expansive exposé of financial secrecy yet.
The Pandora Papers expose complex cross-border networks of companies, which frequently result in hidden ownership of money and assets. For example, someone may own a property in the United Kingdom but own it through a network of companies based in other countries, or "offshore." These offshore countries or territories are where:
1)the destinations are often referred to as tax havens or secrecy jurisdictions;
2)it is simple to establish companies;
3) there are laws that make it difficult to identify company owners; and there is little or no corporate tax.
All you have to do is establish a shell company in one of the countries or jurisdictions with high levels of confidentiality. But it is not free. You pay a specialist firm to set it up and run the company on your behalf. These companies can provide an address as well as the names of paid directors, leaving no trace at all of your identity.

According to the Indian Express, the Pandora Papers leak contains over 300 Indian names, including more than 60 prominent ones. According to the report, these will be confirmed and revealed in the coming days. Here are some of the well-known names that have been made public thus far:
